What is art for me and what should be for you too

I believe that each and every one of us is here on this planet for a bigger purpose. I strongly believe in God and I believe that creativity is in our DNA. If you think about it, humans always wanted to capture daily life activities, create beautiful things, produce jewto adorn themselves and so on and so forth.

“Archaeologists believe they have discovered the world’s oldest-known representational artwork: three wild pigs painted deep in a limestone cave on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi at least 45,500 years ago.” Read the full article here: https://news.artnet .com/art-world/indonesia-pig-art-oldest-painting-1937110#:~:text=Archaeologists%20believe%20they%20have%20discovered,found%20in%20Leang%20Tedongnge%20cave.

Life back then was tough, very tough but even then humans created ART.

I believe that art is God speaking through us and this is why we feel good when painting, writing, sculpturing and so on. It is our nature, I dare to say one of the main reasons why we are here is to celebrate and express the voice of our creator and creation.

From human history what we really treasure and value the most are the things that humans have created such as paintings, buildings, potteries etc and those pieces tell us a lot about who we are and how far we have come from.

I once was talking to my husband and he stated:” AI will replace most of the jobs out there, what are we going to do ?” And I said “We’ll do what we are supposed to do, create art and beauty.”

Honour this life and express it through art.

This is what I have decided to do whether through photography, writing or painting. This is where I feel the most connected and content. If only everyone would create some space to express their creativity our world would be a happier place to live.

I’m currently on day 24 for my 100 days drawing challenge. Here’s my blog post about it : https://peaceful-space.co.uk/drawing-challenge-100-daily-drawings-challenge/

I’m feeling creativity active and

the more I draw the more I feel at peace.

The more I draw the clearer my vision becomes.

The more I draw the more I know about myself.

Art is part of who am I; although I am nowhere near the end of the challenge I can harvest the benefit from it already. It shocks me to the core. A new daily habit that makes me somehow secure about myself.

I wish I started earlier but for years I believe I wasn’t good enough and even if I am not to your eyes, SO WHAT? Art is doing wonderful things to my soul and this is for now enough for me.

With the wish I inspired you to create more of the things that makes you happy

For a more meaningful life

The importance of little things

It has been a difficult time lately. I have a stone on my stomach and it feels like the world is falling apart but I’m positive and I trust in God.

Today we rode our bikes to school and instead of going back home straight away I decided to go for a bike ride in our local park. I enjoyed every little bit

The fresh air

The warm sun

The feeling of the blood running through my body

The beauty of the leaves turning yellow, brown, orange, and purple…

The ducks and geese in the lake

I wish I had someone to enjoy this moment with me but then I thought that that I WAS ENOUGH.

I believe life can be beautiful even in our darkest moments. We just need to look outside, try new things and never stop to appreciate every little blessing that comes in our way and last but not the least to have faith.

With the wish to lighten your heart.

“Practice makes it perfect” A step closer to my dream

I am at a big turning point in my life.

Kids are going to school and for the very first time after 7 years. I‘m having some free time on my own.

It is strange how I don’t have anyone to look after but myself. It fells like a big new chapter of my life is just began.

Before I became a mother I worked as Fashion Model. I travelled the world with my job. I have been on magazine covers, I have worn the most luxurious brands and visited the most fantastic places. Today I could be back in the industry but for many reasons, I don’t want to be a model anymore.

During these intense 7 years, I found what I really enjoy doing; and this is to use the creative side of my brain.

I enjoy drawing very much and if I had to do something without being worried about the money it would be that. I can draw all day long. However, I find it difficult to get into the flow and often I get distracted. Often I end up not drawing anything at all.

This is why I decided to set this challenge. I will be drawing every day for 100 days and I am going to be posting either a video or a picture on my Pinterest account. https://www.pinterest.it/GiadaGJC/

Check out my day 1 drawing and let me know what you think about it!

I felt extremely inspired to watch this video the other day while I was making dinner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCg8g6buE3M

If you didn’t find your passion yet; please check out one of my article :https://peaceful-space.co.uk/how-to-find-your-passion/

I have lots of ideas and this is my first step to make my dreams come true.

May this project will help me to understand better where to move.

Loss, grief and rebirth

A new feeling is invading my head space.
A feeling of the sound of void inside my heart.
Something is missing.

I miss you and I will always miss you.

A solid column in my life collapsed and suddenly a void appeared.I surrender to God’s will and find peace; it is difficult to accept it but I battle to accept it. You are gone and I won’t be able to be with you anymore.

With the grace of God, I pray to Him to forgive your sins and to accept you in the highest place in Heaven.

May your soul rest in peace

Feed the love for life.

Each seed we plant, must be nourished and taken care of.

Lately, I have been meditating on the importance or even better, the necessity to practice, feed and care for whatever we think is essential for our well-being.

We can’t expect to get paid for work we haven’t done so how can we expect to feel good if we neglected the things that make us feel connected and well-balanced?

I choose to make space for the things that help me to navigate this world more intentionally.

I choose to live within my peaceful -space where I can feel at peace for real.

And with every step I take, I will ask myself if my decision will either enrich me or impoverish me. I will choose the things that will certainly make this life worth living, things that will help my soul flourish.

My Peaceful-Space has various corners where I can fuel my faith, quench my thirst for knowledge and express my creativity.

My Peaceful – Space is a state of mind of gratitude.

My Peaceful -Space is also nature, as nothing can ground me as much as our beautiful planet.

Those things make me fall in love with life every day a bit more and every time I step away from these practices I feel lost, depressed and empty.

What makes you feel in love with your life?
